Apparently the annoying/gratifying ego booster and breaker that is Facebook’s Top Friends application is down. The third largest app on Facebook (wow, we’re some vain, exclusionary people) vanished from the facebook platform according to InsideFacebook. Now Facebook admits that this is an intentional suspension. Oh snap!!!!

We have suspended the Top Friends application while we investigate violations of our Terms of Service. We recognize this is a popular application and don’t take this action lightly.

Apparently Slide, Top Friends’ developer, violated the terms of service by allowing access to non-friends.

Draaaaamaaaa; I bet Slide isn’t on Facebook’s top friends as of this morning.
