24-year-old Jenn Stuczynski broke her American record in the pole vault at the Adidas Track Classic on Sunday.
Stuczynski cleared 16 feet, .75 inches to break the mark of 16 feet she set last year. Only world record holder Yelena Isenbayeva has gone higher. Stuczynski missed three times at a world record 16-5½.
